Homework 5.2 Colour the draft

About the elements of design

I used line, colour, shape and value. Firstly, lines and patterns help me to build the body of the icons. Most of them are curves and abstracted shapes and enables me to have a preliminary draft for the icons. Subsequently, colour and value help to give the icon a deeper visual dimension. As for the main colour, I use the Morandi colour palette, which makes the food look more delicious and, at the same time, the colour palette brings a feeling of peace and harmony that belongs to the afternoon tea time. Furthermore, I use analogous colour combinations to reflect the value of the icons, light and dark colours can reflect themes and shadows.
